At Sole Cause, we have carefully curated a design ethos, under the craftsmanship of resilient women making their way into the footwear industry. We believe in preserving artisanal sensibilities and minimalism to harmoniously blend design with function.
The women workers in the shoe industry hail from impoverished backgrounds. They’ ve been physically and sexually abused, abandoned, and left to their own resources by alcoholic and uncaring husbands or fathers. Deprived of education, forced into child marriage, and simply treated like dirt by their in-laws.
The founders of the brand dedicated this platform to the lives of those women, who now work cohesively in a factory; learning the hard craftsmanship of shoe making, getting paid equal wages, and being safe and free from the clutches of abuse and harassment.
We’re crafting footwear that is made of the finest materials, passionately handpicked leather, and observed for every thin detail and stitch before being added to your life. Our goal is to ensure your long-lasting satisfaction as you enjoy our shoes for years to come. To achieve this, we meticulously design our styles to be relaxed, timeless, and versatile, following a 26-step crafting process reminiscent of age-old traditions.
